Seattle

Here I am in Seattle settling in and trying to readjust to a new city! It does not feel like summer up here! It is so gray and cold! I am already missing the heat and sun of Southern California!! I had an interview yesterday at the Language Connection, the company I am hoping to work for while here in Seattle, (I would be translating in hospitals and clinics all around seattle.) The interview was good, I had to take a medical spanish vocab test, which was interesting because I actually don't have ANY medical spanish, but I think I was able to remember enough that I passed. I will hear the final word in a couple of days. School ended well, thank you for those who prayed me through my last few weeks of micro. I actually ended up pulling my grade up to a B- which was exciting. The road trip up to Seattle was nice and uneventful, and these last two days have been full of resting and unpacking. I have been missing my family these last couple of days, I think it is harder this summer as I am living with a family it hits me that it is not my family. While at Hume you are working all summer with college students who are ALL away from home, but here I am in a home its just not mine. But the family I am living with are amazing and they have been incredibly welcoming so I am blessed for that!! Well thats enough of an update on me...thank you so much for all your prayers and support. Nat and I have been so so blessed to see God provide through each one of you! We are counting down the days till we leave! Thanks for your prayers!
